Celebrity Closet Raiders

(New York, NY) – December 1, 2005 - Hearst Magazines announced today that the editors-in-chief from its 19 consumer magazines, including Cosmopolitan, Esquire, Harper’s Bazaar, Marie Claire and Town & Country, will come together to donate designer items from their personal collections to “Celebrity Closet Raiders� – a company that sells pre owned designer clothing for celebrities. “Celebrity Closet Raiders� founder Regina Russell will work with the Hearst editors to collect designer clothing and accessories, which will be auctioned off on eBay to benefit The United Way.

Select items include handbags, suits, accessories, shoes and other clothing from designers such as Chanel, Celine, Coach, Dolce & Gabbana, Fendi, Givenchy, Hogan, Marc Jacobs, Donna Karan, Missoni, Prada, Oscar de la Renta, Kate Spade and Versace. Donations are from the personal closets of Kate White (Cosmopolitan), Susan Schulz (CosmoGIRL!), Nancy Soriano (Country Living), David Granger (Esquire), Ellen Levine (Good Housekeeping), Glenda Bailey (Harper’s Bazaar), Stephen Drucker (House Beautiful), Lesley Jane Seymour (Marie Claire), Amy Gross (O, The Oprah Magazine/O at Home), Jim Meigs (Popular Mechanics), Susan Toepfer (Quick & Simple), Stacy Morrison (Redbook), Atoosa Rubenstein (Seventeen), Mandi Norwood (SHOP Etc.), Fleming Meeks (SmartMoney), Pamela Fiori (Town & Country/Town & Country Travel)) and Susan Wyland (Weekend).
