The Shogren House Museum
Welcome to the Shogren House Museum. Built in 1906, this graceful Arts and Crafts style home is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. Sitting on more than an acre of manicured lawns and lush gardens, the house is surrounded by a basalt stone wall and is protected by 100 year old fir, linden, and beech trees.
Our gracious home has been lovingly restored inside and out. When you visit Shogren House, even though it's only ten minutes from downtown Portland, you will feel as if you have been spirited away to a timeless and beautiful retreat. Whether you seek a romantic wedding site, a staff retreat center, or a place to hold a special party or event, Shogren House will greet you like a long lost friend.

At Shogren House, part of that reward can be found in our unique food and beverage ideas. We work with a variety of caterers and chefs who custom design delectable menus based on your specific needs and timing. However, we often caution attendees that the mouth watering aromas wafting from the kitchen can cause hunger pangs.
